Gina is from Vietnam but now Singapore is home to her. She has always been a very active person doing activities such as dance, gym workouts and Muay Thai. After a few trial sessions she became addicted to yoga and practiced frequently. She began to see many positive changes in life – less stress, improved sleep, more calmness, better understanding of other people and more enjoyment of the simple things in life.
Yoga taught her an important lesson that applies to life – there is no success without failure!
All this led her wanting to share the passion of Yoga with others and inspire them to improve their lives. She set out on the path to become a yoga teacher and realised during the training that yoga can also be beneficial in treating injuries and chronic illnesses as well as preventing chronic diseases. She feels it is her duty to share with others how yoga can be used to increase body and core strength as well as improve balance and flexibility. She believes that Yoga helps achieve a good balance in the mind and lead to good mental health.
